Unemployment Benefits Could End Soon for 22,000 Georgians: A Conversation with House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams (D-Atlanta)

ATLANTA, GA (WABE) - On Tuesday, April 5th, WABE's Denis O'Hayer aired a conversation with State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler, who explained why state officials are hesitant to qualify for $175 million in Federal money. That money would pay for extended unemployment benefits for some 22,000 Georgians who've been out of work the longest.
